Zululand Rhino Reserve

The landscape of ZRR varies from open Savanna bushveld to riverine woodland, characterized by Acacia’s & Marula trees. Established in 2004, ZRR comprises of 17 landowners who dropped their fences to create a Big 5, endangered species reserve. Wildlife ACT’s main focus on ZRR is to assist with the day-to-day monitoring of White & Black Rhino, African Wild Dog, Cheetah, Elephant, Lion, Leopard & Buffalo populations.
