From the black male perspective, actor Brian White says negative portrayals of black Women are just a reflection of reality. He says that as the black community we connect with the negative messages from black reality television then get mad because of its success. He continues to say that by watching these shows and films that depict black people in a negative light makes the stereotype exist. Brian White's solution is to stop funding the films with our money.
