It looks like this project is aimed at the younger child, but I think older children may enjoy it as well.

I borrowed this idea and tried it this week for summer school during my zoo theme. We painted the children's hand and printed them 4 times in a fan. I then painted the side of their hand/thumb and slid it sideways for the bodies. They used fingerprints for the colors on the feathers. Sooo cute!!!!
