"Float" Contemporary Glass Work

“Float” refers to both the idea of hovering or drifting and also the material itself. The act of making something precious or meaningful from an industrial material creates an added perception of the work. It is cold to the touch but requires heat to be shaped. Glass itself is liquid and yet it appears to be a solid material. Float is a collection of works that refract, reflect and transmit ideas through glass as an observational device.
