Inchanga Railway Station

Umgeni Steam Railway uses the Inchanga Railway Station as our Depot. Our workshops and shed with all rolling stock reside here. The Station is also the end of the line for the Inchanga Choo Choo. Inchanga Railway Station was built in 1892 and served as the halfway station between Durban and Pietermaritzburg from 1892 to around the 1930's when the current mainline was completed.
