Nancy is working on this cement umbrella stand using gold leaf and dri-brushed with Annie Sloan Chalk Paints. A work in progress! Wendy can be seen fine painting a Venetian lamp base in the background.
Lynn composed this stunning design onto glass using photocopied paper, serviettes and handmade paper background. The moon was goldleafed onto the photocopy and shellacked to stop tarnishing under the glass. Under glass, this design pops and comes alive. Very beautiful.
Bev repainted this wooden cupboard in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Old White. We used Greek Blue on the bottom drawer and mixed Old White into the blue for the top drawer. Bev sourced the funky polka dot handles and after 3 coats of Harlequin Satin Decorators Varnish it will be ready for her new grandson's nursery!
Bev decoupaged this serviette onto a tissue box holder. She had to cut up the design to create "panels". A few layers of "podge" were painted over the serviette, sanding and 3 coats of Harlequin Satin Decorators varnish were applied for a fine, smooth, professional finish!
Sheryl worked very hard on this iconic little bedside table with fluted legs. Annie Sloan Chalk Paints in Paris Grey and Old White were dry-brushed onto the wood. Transferred images were "podged" over the paint technique, then sanded back to create the whimsical gentle colored inset drawer panels. Silverleafing was added for extra detail and genuine crystal handles replaced the old iron ones adding a touch of glamour and sparkle!
