This is what I have, since youth, referred to as a "tree portal." Walking along a foggy, tree-lined path in the mountainous countryside often feels like travelling into a dream, or perhaps the winding entrance to a fantasy realm.
I chose this picture because of the depth of perception and the repetition it has. The trees on the rocks look as if their close but actually are further away. Also the reflection of the trees on the water add an element of repetition to the picture.
