#01 Turtleneck Pullover pattern by Amy Gunderson

Gunderson alludes to the fine angora halo of traditional Bohus sweaters with this roomy turtleneck pullover knit in Universal Yarn’s brushed-mohair-blend Amphora. Worked seamlessly from the top down, it sports Bohus-like colorwork on the yoke and sleeves; the five shades create a vibrant counterpoint to the charcoal background. Double ribbing trims the cuffs, hem and collar, which is knit separately and sewn to the neckline in finishing.

Clawthorpe

Clawthorpe is worked in the round from the bottom up. Both the body and sleeves begin with a provisional tubular cast-on, and the neck is finished with a tubular bind-off. After the body and sleeves are joined, raglan decreases are worked to shape the underarms, and short rows are worked to raise the back yoke. The pattern assumes that you know how to do stranded colorwork, steeks, and that you always check your gauge.
