1camera1mom: The Spice Route - We decided to go for a drive and popped in at the Spice Route in Paarl for dinner. The views and our meal were a real treat! We shared a delicious pizza at La Grapperia. Hubby's beverage of choice was a craft beer by CBC and mine was a Fynbos Gin by Wilderer with tonic, ice, a slice of cucumber, and a garnish of fresh mint. #travel #photography #food #drinks #beautiful #country #SouthAfrica
1camera1mom: Cape Town's Theme Park - We took Amanda and a friend on a Saturday in early March to Ratanga Junction. We had a fabulous time and the girls could go on the rides as many times as they liked, because we hardly had to wait or not at all. The Congo Queen was one they rode at least 9 times. 1camera1mom: Velddrif, South Africa, a coastal fishing town in the Western Cape. It's on the estuary where the Berg River flows into St. Helena Bay. The estuary is home to a variety of birds and there is a bird hide for birdwatching. Besides birdwatching, there's also fishing and yachting. #travel #photography #fishing #birdwatching #nature #outdoors
Paternoster is one of the oldest fishing villages on South Africa's West Coast. Along the beautiful white beach you can see white boulders and white-washed fishermen's cottages, many of which have been turned into tourist accommodation. Against all of the white is a blue sky, blue sea and colorful traditional fishing boats. #fishing #boats #travelblog #beach #sea #blue #SouthAfrica
1camera1mom: Rietdakkie Farm Stall, South Africa - There are a variety of interesting items for sale like pretty tins, handmade crafts, bottled preserves and more that also make for great gifts. They also sell seasonal produce, farm butter and food to go. Check out the photos on my travel blog! #travel #southafrica #country #photography #farmstall

1camera1mom: The Spice Route - We decided to go for a drive and popped in at the Spice Route in Paarl for dinner. We arrived when things were closing like the wine tasting, the craft beer tasting and the chocolate tasting, which draw lots of South Africans and tourists alike. We didn't mind, because we didn't have a lot of time. Besides, the views and our meal were a big enough treat for us! #pizza #food #drink #travel #photography #SouthAfrica
