The Maa Trust Holds a Community Dialogue on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)
On Sunday, March 21st, The Maa Trust’s (TMT) counseling team met with community members to come up with community-driven strategies to end FGM in the Maasai Mara. The 85 community members who attended the community dialogue were identified from the Olesere community and included men, women, and youths.

Over the last week, Maa Beadwork team has been trained on beadwork order management, photography, and report writing skills. This training was facilitated by the funds donated by the I&M Bank Ltd Foundation for the capacity building of Maa Beadwork staff.

Nkoilale Water, Sanitation and Hygiene(WASH) Training Held on 26th August 2020
On Wednesday, August 2020, The Maa Trust team led by Simon Kipila, Project Officer- WASH conducted a training on the importance of having toilets at home and the risk of open defecation to 76 community members.
