I can't decide if I love this or hate it. I think if the windows were mirrored on the outside I'd love it (this is in a bedroom, so privacy is key). Someone on apartment therapy suggested a more squarish version for a bedside table though, which I might love in the right space.

An inset glass box is used here to capture the reflected light of an outdoor Zen garden and to bring it indoors along the floor. The wall becomes a glowing prism of light during the day, and a glowing alcove as seen from the outside at night.

Love that the renovation of this building (turning it from a dry cleaning shop into a home) involved stripping it down to the original wooden ceiling beams and stone/brick walls
