Allan Anthony Donald (born 20 October 1966) aka White Lightening ....is a former South African cricketer and one of their most successful pace bowlers. In his prime, he was one of the best fast bowlers ever seen in Test cricket, reaching the top of the ICC rankings in 1998. In the early 1990s, he was arguably the only world-class bowler in the South African team, until the emergence of Pollock, with whom he made a healthy new-ball partnership from the 1996 until his retirement in 2002.

This rare item is a cricket bat signed by the 1951 South Africans. There are 15 signatures in ink to the face of the bat, including EAB Rowan, JHB Waite, DJ McGlew, AD Nourse, JE Cheetham, GM Fullerton, CB van Ryneveld, AMB Rowan, NBF Mann, GWA Chubb, and CN McCarthy. The reverse additionally signed by nine members of the 1953 Australians including Lindwall, Benaud, Hassett, Johnston, Harvey, Hole and county the teams of Worcestershire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Essex.
Shaun Maclean Pollock (born 16 July 1973) is a retired South African cricketer who is considered a bowling all-rounder. From 2000 to 2003 he was the captain of the South African cricket team. He was also chosen as the Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 2003. He is the leading wicket taker among South Africans, taking over 400 test wickets and scoring over 3,700 test runs in his 108 Test matches. On 11 January 2008 he announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket.
