CASEing Wanda Guess from ABNH
When I first saw THIS POST from Wanda Guess at A Blog Named Hero, I fell in love! It is still one of my all time favourites. I loved Wanda's set with a variety of sentiments, but I thought if I toned down the colours of the butterflies, it would make a beautiful sympathy card. I made 2 versions: Please visit A Blog Named Hero throughout December to see the favourite posts of all the design team. Thanks for visiting today :)

Forever and Always by beesmom - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I loved the MUSE inspiration this week by Vicki Dutcher. Thanks, Vicki! My card is pretty straightforward - I did have to add a little more ink to get some definition on the flower with my blender pen. Main panel is popped up. WT531 Summer Wedding by beesmom - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Had to make a flower card for our May flower challenge. Inked up the stamp with colors, spritzed with water and stamped on wc cs. Did this a couple times, then flicked diluted ink with a paintbrush and stamped sentiment with the MISTI so I could stamp it more than once and make sure it was solid and bold on top of the ink. Matted, and popped up panel for dimension. I love this sentiment for a wedding card and thought these colors would be good for a summer wedding. Linking to: [url…
One Layer Challenge
This started out as a one layer card. I did watercoloring like Jennifer McGuire did today on her blog, but when I put the haze around the flower it got all icky. Was ready to throw it out and then decided to cut it out and put it on the same color cardstock as it was orginally. So I cheated a bit - probably not the best idea to try in a 90 minute challenge!!! All HA stamps - watercolored with distress markers.

Stamping with GESSO
Here is a card I made when I was experimenting for this months CAS Mix Up Challenge. I used a brayer to apply the Gesso to the very old Hero Arts background stamp. Next I smooshed the panel over spritzed Distress Oxides. When it was dry, I wiped over the gesso with a damp cloth. I used the same inks to stamp the butterfly. This is definitely my favourite small butterfly stamp from Hero Arts Antique Flowers and Butterflies. The sentiment die is from Lawn Fawn. I'm sharing at the following…
