Messerschmitt Me 323 Gigant. Built as a glider made of tubular steel and wood the first 323 was towed by three Me-110s; a tricky operation. In early 1941 the 323s were fitted with six French Gnome-Rhone GR14N engines, making them capable of transporting 120 fully outfitted troops.
