"Wandering Mystic" This wizard walking staff measures almost 57 inches tall. His nose and the top of his hat were branches protruding from this small Douglas Fir tree. I used thinned oil paints to add some color but the majority of his face is the natural color of the wood. I've also added some tiny, inconspicuous glass beads into the natural knot holes along the length of the stick that give off a red glow when the light hits them just right. Signed and dated: N.
