Garlic Chicken & Broccoli | @bigmamacooks_ | By Tasty | Hey, cousin. I'm making this bomb garlic chicken and broccoli that's better than takeout. I'm using two pounds of chicken tenderloins that I cut into pieces of this size. I season with salt, black pepper, a little garlic powder, give it a toss, and I add a little oil to my pan that's going on medium heat. I add the chicken to the pan and I let this cook five minutes per side. I set the chicken aside and in the same pan, I melt three tablespoons of butter on medium low heat. Scraping the good stuff while I do it. I add a ton of minced garlic. This was 10 garlic cloves, a teaspoon of ginger paste. This brings out the garlic flavor and a little red pepper flakes, soy sauce, some water, and three tablespoons of brown sugar. Then I make a cornstarch slurry, a teaspoon of cornstarch with two teaspoons of water. Combine and pour it in. This is going to thicken the sauce. I add the chicken back in and added another little bit of water to create a little more sauce. Then I added pre-cooked broccoli. Toss the broccoli into the sauce and let this cook for 3 minutes.
