Meng 1 E sagte margarine, 1 k appelkoos konfyt, 1 t koeksoda, 6 E hoogvol bruismeel, kwart t sout, 1 t fyn gemmer en 2 t asyn in bak. Strooi 1 k bruin suiker bo-oor deeg en dan 3 k kookwater. Bak 30-35 minute tot goudbruin en gaar. Poeding maak ‘n dik sous onder in bak. Bedien met roomys of vla.
