During the Cassinga strike, as the landing Mirage IIICZ aircraft taxied back into the hardstand and switched off, the ground crews, fitters, airframe and radio fitters, armourers, refuellers etc swarmed over the aircraft like ants for these aircraft were desperately required to continue with close-air-support operations until such time as the Airborne Brothers were extracted out of Cassinga by Helicopter.
