Source: @amilahsspot INGREDIENTS ⬇️ • 2 cups of Warm milk • 1tbs of yeast (I added 1/2 tsp because I used more milk than needed) • 3tbs of sugar • Salt • Butter • Flour • 1 egg •tsp of baking powder (Extra fluffy bread) INSTRUCTIONS: • 1. Warm 2 cups of milk, add 1 tbsp of yeast, 1 egg, 3tbs of sugar and let it sit for 10-15 minutes • 2. Then add 4.5 cups of flour and 1 tsp of salt and combine all ingredients til you get a sticky dough (add 1/2 cup if needed) • 3. Add half stick of butter (room temperatured) and knead until smooth. It’ll feel like it’s getting wet, just keep massaging in the butter until you get a soft dough. • 4. Cover your dough and let it rest for 20 minutes until it fills you bowl. • 5. homemade Bao buns 🤤
Ingredients • 180g plain flour • 1 tsp instant yeast • 1/2 cup warm water • Pinch salt • 1/2 tsp oil 1 small carrot • 1 onion • 8 @meatlessfarm plant based meatballs • A handful of mushrooms • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tsp sesame oil • 1/2 tsp garlic powder • 1/2 tsp maple syrup Dash of oil • 2 x 1/4 cup water Grate the carrot, onion and mushrooms. Add them to a frying pan along with the ‘meatballs’. Use a fork to mash them up in the pan. Start to cook everything in the sesame oil, over medium heat. Cook for around 20 mins, then add all seasonings and remove from the heat. Place in the fridge whilst prepping the buns Mix together the plain flour, yeast and pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl. Add in the oil and warm water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead on a clean, dry
