The Dunelm Hotel, Old Elvet in the 1950's. The arched entrance on the left was named 'Chapel Passage' as it once led to the old Methodist Chapel (opened in 1808). The Dunelm is now part of the Durham Marriott Hotel Royal County and the archway has become a window in our dining room.
