Painting: Acrylic Color Wheel
Painting students have moved on to acrylic paint. Their first project is to create a radial design with a repeating shape. Each of the 12 sections will be painted a different color with the end result looking like a color wheel. UPDATE: With another workday, students are about 1/2 way to 3/4 of the way finished with their colors. Above, is the result, a double layered collage canvas with lots of favorite stuff from my collections and some from my friend Jo's. Jo was inspired by an article in a recent Somerset Studio magazine. She was then inspired to inspire me to create my own canvas! I love this idea and am crazed to make more...but I am running out of wall space, Yikes!
