A COLLABORATORY   The campus architecture will adopt a passive-first approach, looking to cool and ventilate itself naturally. Solar gain will be mitigated through overhangs and screens as well as planted roofs. Day lighting as well as views will be maximised. Spaces will embrace & inspire both staff & students. A NEST  Residence buildings will be a ‘home’, a comfortable space to live, socialise and study. Although relatively open within, residences will be private and secluded from public facades and squares. All group or public activities/ spaces should be ‘shuffled’ towards the ground and public spaces. Spaces for studying and reflection will be pushed towards private courtyards and quieter edges, with an equivalent hierarchy for older students.
