We glazes earthenware terracotta mugs and bowls with various earthenware glazes and fired them at 1065°C (1949°F). The glazes ran during firing and glazed onto the kiln rack. Troubleshooting: - Glaze was applied too thickly - The temperature was slightly too high (which can be an issue because these glazes don't seem to develop properly at a lower temperature) - The combination of glazes applied over each other may have lowered the melting point.
Espresso mugs commission for a game farm. These mugs will be painted in black and white with a Wildebees sketch.
