Small garden labyrinth
Wooden floor, piled river stone layout and a fire surround. One of the most beautiful labyrinths I have ever seen. "For about 4 days before Easter, St Matthew-in-the-city sets out a labyrinth in river stones and candles. The church fills with music: sometimes a choir, maybe electronic music, maybe the sound of a river gurgling by."
jardín rosales, madrid A really interesting structure. Called a vortex in maze lingo, this junction has many exits forming concentric spirals, and the path destination is not indicated by the directions they lead from the vortex. Great examples are found in Longleat maze. In this case each path leads out so it could be classed as a modern labyrinth.
