The Printer's Tray Series

Used by letterpress printers in the 1800s, a printer's trays is a flat wooden drawer typically divided into a number of small compartments which were once assigned to specific letters, numbers, and symbols. We recreate these obsolete objects into one-off pieces of functional art including coffee and console display tables, wall display cases and even mirrors.
