Creative Cake Ideas | Creative Cake Ideas | By Love To Eat | Today I got to make a cupcake cake which is so fun because I used to do these all the time. This is for a little girl named Mia's third birthday. They requested that there be twenty-four cupcakes, half yellow, half chocolate but I needed four more for design purposes so they got twenty-eight. The customer requested that it be a green dinosaur with blue spots in pastel colors. I started by outlining all of my cupcakes in white and then I drew the shape of the dinosaur in green. I've also been getting so many dinosaur cake requests lately and I don't know what's going on. After that, I decided I wanted to add some shading to the top of its back and the blue spikes and because I have so much self control, I only put edible glitter on the parts with blue buttercream. This also needed to have a really cute cartoony effect so we gave him really big googly eyes and then I had to add some more blue spikes to his head to pull it all together. I finished by outlining the entire thing to give it a cleaner look. After that, I added grass to the bottom of the board to give it more of a scene. I think this is so adorable. Please order more cupcake cakes. I've gotten so many orders for dinosaur cakes and we're making another one. The customer wanted a quarter sheet yellow cake filled with lemon. The customer requested that there'd be a dinosaur on the cake and when I asked which kind she said I don't know he really likes the green ones. So I made the executive decision that the green one would be a T-rex. But right now it's honestly just giving a happy crocodile so stick with me. Dinosaur cakes are easily becoming one of my favorites. Because there's so many different kinds you can make them all different colors and you can go from being super kitty to more realistic. I added its legs and tiny arms. Now I'm just doing an outlined in lighter green. For final touches I'm adding its claws, eyeball details, and teeth. But look it's so cute it's smiling. To add some more scenery and color to the cake. I did a bunch of leaves and grass going around it. After that I wrote happy birthday Isaac and the cake is done. Mm it's giving happy crocodile still. And green barney. But it's still cute. A Thanks. Bye guys. Today I got to make a cake order for a girl who found me on TikTok. She wanted a quarter sheet marble cake iced in white buttercream. For decorations she requested that there be a black lab and a soccer ball theme on the cake. And I never really get to do a lot of dogs especially labs so this was brand new for me. So I started by doing my outlined white so that way if there's any mistakes I can just scrape it off and start over. Thankfully I was able to freehand it on the first try which I was really excited about. I filled the dog in with a of a softer black and then outlined him in a darker one. So that way it's easier to see all of its features. And then I figured the best way to incorporate the soccer ball theme was to just have him sitting next to a soccer ball. So I added that on and I made sure to outline everything so it looked really clean. For finishing touches I just added on some grass to make it look more natural. She just wanted it to say happy birthday Ryan and I chose to do the writing in a lighter green to just add some more color. And you guys the girl that ordered this was so sweet. Unfortunately I didn't get to hand out the cake so Hannah if you're watching, please let me know what you think. Okay, thanks. Bye guys.
