Crochet an adorable ladybug or ladybird Amigurumi with this free crochet pattern. After making the mini bee and butterfly Amigurumi, I thought I’d adapt the pattern to make a cute ladybug! Since I didn’t want to make the entire body and head in black, I decided to go for grey for the head, and add a black cap. The super feminine collar is an extra detail that I really liked for my ladybug. Furthermore, it adds a little light to the front of the Amigurumi that would be too dark without it.

I initially shared the pattern as part of the weather sensory cube for babies. For the weather baby cube, I kept the umbrella as flat as possible, because I had to sew it on one of the faces of the cube. However, I liked the idea of a little umbrella Amigurumi and decided to make a tridimensional version as well by adding a round bottom.
