Lekker krummelpap - Ingredients for the pap (serves 6): 4 cups of water 2 tsp salt 2 tbsp butter 2 ½ cups maize meal.Method: 1. Pour the water into a large pot, add the salt and butter and bring to the boil. 2. Slowly pour the maize meal into the pot to form a cone in the centre but don’t stir! 3. Cover with the lid, reduce the heat to low and allow the pap to simmer for 5 minutes. 4. Using a large fork ), stir it until crumbly and cover again with the lid. Simmer for an hour on low heat.

an biltong tert Oond 180 gr C. Smeer diep tertbak en voer uit met gekoopte broskorsdeeg. Gooi 250 gr gerasperde cheddar kaas oor deeg, dan 150 gr gesnyde biltong. Klits saam: 4 eiers en 250 ml room en 125 ml melk en sout en peper. Gooi bo-oor biltong en bak 1 uur tot vulsel gestol is. Laat 10 min staan voordat jy dit voorsit.
(Flap jacks)Directions 1. Sift flour into bowl and stir in sugar.2. Make a hole in centre.3. Mix egg and milk together. 4. Add egg and milk to flour at once. 5.Whisk until all the liquid is mixed in and batter is smooth. 6. Melt butter in pan. 7. Drop heaped tablespoons of mixture onto base of pan about 2 cm apart. 8. Cook over medium heat for 1 minute or untill golden brown and the top is bubbly. Turn over and cook a further 1 minute or golden brown.
