Maak beskuitjie kors van Tenniskoekies.  Druk in tertbak vas.  Maak 1 pakkie suurlemoen jellie aan met 1 k kookwater en laat afkoel.  Roer 1 blik kondensmelk en 1 blikkie grenadillamoes by en ook 50 ml suurlemoensap.  Meng deur en skep op beskuitjiekors.

Some of my happiest moments were  the times spent with my mother in the early morning, sitting and talking  about the day ahead while sipping strong coffee and nibbling on bran and  buttermilk rusks. It’s not always easy living more than 8 000 kilometres  away from home on special days like these, but luckily there are small  things that can make it easier to bear, such as Skype and baking a batch of  rusks. Condensed Milktart 1 Tin Condensed Milk, 3 cups water, 6 tbsp Maizena, 2 eggs - yolk & whites seperated, 1 tbsp butter, 1 tsp vanilla essence, Tennis biscuits. Heat condensed milk in water. Mix Maizena with little water & mix with mil. Stir mixture until thick & remove from heat. Add egg yolks (beaten) & boil until done. Add butter & essence. Layer tennis biscuits in dish & pour over mixture. Sprinkle cinnamon over. Cool down & serve.
