Yeah, these aren’t Viking runes, these are just Germanic runes. This is the Elder Futhark, which was obsolete by the Viking Age. The Vikings used the Younger Futhark. Also, the Blank rune is a modern maybe) invention. Nice picture though.
Although the meanings of these symbols may vary from tribe to tribe it would be a great way to show students symbols that Native Americans used and then discuss some of the symbols we use in every day life. (Ex: road symbols/signs) RJT

There are many Native American symbols that are frequently in use today, especially in a lot of southwestern style art. There are many places in the southwest where you still find many Native American symbols carved in stone, these are called petroglyphs.
