Sherman tank WWII, Firefly. This was a tank whose gun had been increased in power. A British 6 pounder was commonly installed in place of the short barreled 75mm used in American style tanks. The Firefly could destroy a German Tiger at a reasonable distance but the short barreled 75mm could not penetrate a Tiger’s armor at point blank range.
