If you have ever wondered how the term riding 'double donkey' came about, clearly this is the explanation! A Stanley picture taken in Transkei recently. No bits, bridles, saddles, but the kids are happy on their way to school and the donkeys seem very comfortable too. Jongile got his donkey jenny back yesterday, after 2 1/2 months of extensive, intensive, work by the 'never say die' Treloar! Came in hobbling on three legs but once the stone was removed from her hoof, she came sound. Never lost weight nor the will to live. Gotta love her! BRAVO, TRELOAR!
