1976- Mugen ME125: An extremely potent Honda CR125M Package Racer built by Mugen, the son of Soichiro Honda.  Mugen urged his father to produce the Elsinore series of two stroke dirt bikes against his father's will.  Soichiro hated two stroke motors.

Honda Elsinore my first and only attempt at motocross, it started my dismissal of two stroke engines as viable due to their inefficiency and pollution. The power band of two stroke engines probably got better in time but this was real nasty.
