Just a very few of the problems caused by Chiari Malformation Type I struggle with all of these (except bladder thank god) on a daily basis.

In our lives with a brain injury we find ourselves letting gowhile trying to hold on.This letting go & holding on..is like a tug of war every single day.It is no wonder we often find ourselves beyond exhaustion & completely drained..(besides the obvious from trauma..along with injury)..We can not return to the person we once were...make sure you give yourself that time to mourn and accept the person you will become. ...

Sadly a fight each survivor must face. Caregivers mourn too the old while caring for the new. TBI's truly cause chaos, more than anyone knows, except, those who KNOW!

Brain tumor humor!!!!! Lol!!! Always make fun of yourself, it makes life easier. At least for me it does ;))

Between the fatigue, the attention deficit, and the short term memory deficit, some days it's hard to see my Meds as a net positive.
