It’s satisfying to see the grime, body oils and laundry detergent build up soak out by stripping it! This brightens and whitens white bedding and towels! My fluffy towels become scruffy and dingy and my bedding and pillow cases have seen better days
Stripping laundry is easy! Fill a tub/big bucket with super hot water and 1 cup of powdered laundry detergent, 1/4 cup of borax and 1/4 cup of washing soda. Mix until dissolved and let the laundry marinate for at least 4 hours. Drain the tub and transport the wet laundry in a garbage bag lined basket
Throw the wet laundry into the washer with an additional cycle. I add bleach to further brighten my whites. Skip this step if you’re stripping colourful articles. Next, transfer laundry to the dryer with tennis/wool balls to fluff the laundry!
