April 2 1931 A history making exhibition game w/ the NY Yankees & minor league Chattanooga Lookouts. The game included Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig & relief pitcher 17 yr old Jackie Mitchell the 1st woman pro baseball player. Scheduled for April Fools, but delayed due to rain it was a real shock when she struck both Ruth & Gehrig out or was it. The authenticity in question she was still forever labeled as "the girl who struck out Babe Ruth". Jackie maintained it was true via inhistoric.com.

Little Debbie Snacks...love it that one of the tempting foods mentioned over and over in the Mitford series of books is Little Debbies!! Love the Nutty Buddy Bars...but very favorite is the cream-filled oatmeal cake...if they're good enough for Nick Saban's breakfast, they're good enough for this Bama girl! (slj)
