Quokka

this is a quokka that lives on outlying islands of Australia...it is about the size of a cat and unfortunately not fearful enough of predators. It is a marsupial that is most closely related to kangaroos. They can climb trees but they most often hop around on land and in tunnels they dig to stay cool. They are vegetarians that get most of their moisture needs from the plants they eat (like the Koala).
