Talking Sticks A talking stick is a smaller stick - usually between 6 - 10 inches long, and normally used in groups. One person holds the stick while he or she talks. All others remain silent. When they pass the stick on, they pass the right to speak. This keeps meetings orderly and it is fun. These sticks fit in a backpack and are great around a campfire. They include the Boy Scout™ Law.
