Groove textured ceiling edges: Cutting a slight groove along textured ceilings with a putty knife leaves a smooth edge for your paintbrush to follow. This way you don't have to tape and get a smoother line while cutting in. Wish I would've known this trick before!!

How to Paint Crisp Lines - 1) Paint color A section and let dry. Make sure to extend the paint BEYOND where you will want the line. 2) Put down frog tape where you want line to be and paint the edge with color A. It will "seal" the edge and any paint that bleeds will blend in with the color you wanted there anyway. Let dry. C) Paint color B. Let dry 4 hours then carefully peel away tape.
