Sweet Hawaiian bbq chicken=1 C. packed light brown sugar 1 C. soy sauce (I don’t recommend the Dark kind, it’s too strong) 4-5 cloves of garlic chopped 1 1/2 T. fresh ginger root chopped 1/4-1/2 large onion sliced Marinade chicken in bag at least 4 hrs. Grill. When the pieces of meat are done place them in Pyrex dish with melted butter and chopped green onion.
It’s rich and creamy, while the fresh parsley gives it a nice bit of color and flavor. But more importantly, it gives me my garlic fix. And when I can combine my two loves, garlic and cheese? Now that’s a beautiful thing.
