Seeds are an excellent snack for diabetics! They pack a nutritional punch that includes healthy oils and fats as well as fiber and protein. Chia pudding is great when you're trying to loose weight and want to feel full. 2 tablespoons with about 18 tablespoons of water mixed with raspberries or other berries is enough to make you feel really full and it's maximum 200 calories with the raspberries. I've never had to loose weight so when not on candida diet I prefer to use some sort of nut milk or coconut milk in the chia pudding for more protein and calories.
