Whole Foods Market is a great place to shop for non-GMO food. See my tips for avoiding GMOs and saving money at Whole Foods.

GMO   Avoid processed foods.  Buy organic or “non-GMO” labeled food when possible.   Familiarize yourself with the most common GMO foods and avoid (or buy organic versions of) of these foods and products containing them. Beware, corn and soy are in almost all processed foods, and 88% of corn and 93% of soybeans produced in the US are GMO.

The Non-GMO Project logo can be found on a lot of foods at stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joes (they also won't allow any products with HFCS in them, so that helps weed out that culprit as well). For Produce, the code on the sticker should begin with a 9 (non-organic codes begin with 3 or…
