Malai Kofta is a rich and delicious North Indian gravy of deep fried paneer 'n potato dumplings swimming happily in a creamy tomato based sauce. The kofta itself is not sweet, nicely cripsy on the outside and soft to bite into. And the nuts and raisin filling adds a nice flavor and texture to the kofta balls. Vegans can use firm tofy instead of paneer while making the kofta balls and ground cashew paste instead of fresh cream for the gravy.
