♥ From Sara Dunham's blog Punkin's Patch ~ *Sleepy Sunday* ~ This is "Popcorn Pee Pee Pants", also known as "PPPP". She is an 11 year old Border Cheviot, and was the 1st bottle lamb at Sara's Equinox Farm. Born at a neighboring farm in a brutally cold January, she stayed in Sara's kitchen for her 1st 5 weeks. She was a silly lamb, bouncing around the kitchen, which earned her the name "Popcorn". 5 weeks of mopping up pee spots on the floor added the rest. She was never called Pearl again!...

♥ From Arlette Seib's blog "Dog Tale Ranch" in Saskatchewan, Canada ~ Favorite Rubbing Tree ~ "This area of bush is located in a large hollow that stays dry. The ewes favor this spot on windy days and the trees have become favorite rubbing trees. Shearing day is just around the corner, soon the ewes will have little to rub about." ♥

A flock of Targhee range ewes at Jondaryan Station Ranch in Eastend, Saskatchewan, Canada. They adapt well to whatever the season brings. With an average of just 12" annual rainfall, they have good hard grass, but not much of it. Ewes raised in these conditions develop an excellent foraging ability and will thrive where other breeds may fail.

ALL animals -- human AND nonhuman -- want to love, be loved, enjoy their freedom, & live on their own terms. BE VEGAN & end the part YOU play in upholding "acceptable" violence, animal cruelty, & exploitation inside cultural "norms" of society. Acknowledge the VICTIMS of your non-vegan habits & turn your heart towards justice rather than injustice. It's not too late to learn compassion & reverence for life. www.vegankit.com, www.bitesizevegan.com, & www.howtogovegan.org
