Hubble snaps NGC 5189 The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope celebrates the holiday season with a striking image of the planetary nebula NGC The intricate structure of the stellar eruption looks like a giant and brightly coloured ribbon in space.
A rainbow of the Universe. If I could do anything, I would study astronomy. The sky has always intrigued me and I would love to learn all I can about it. I would love to be as close as possible to this science. It is a beautiful party of God's creation.
Cotton Candy Nebula - The nebula known as complete with sparkly star clusters embedded in fluffy pink clouds of gas. This exceptionally energetic star-forming region, also known as the Bean Nebula, extends over light-years in the Large Magellanic Cloud.
The Seahorse of the Large Magellanic Cloud Image Credit: NASA, ESA, and M. Livio (STScI) The curiously-shaped dust structure occurs in our neighboring Large Magellanic Cloud, in a star forming region very near the expansive Tarantula Nebula.
The cosmic cloud cataloged as NGC 281 - the eye-catching shapes looming are playfully called the Pacman Nebula because of its overall shape. It's about light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia.
