Castle De Haar is located near Haarzuilens, in the province of Utrecht in the Netherlands. The current buildings, all built upon the original castle, date from 1892 and are the work of Dutch architect P.J.H. Cuypers.

However, the Family Retained the Right to Spend One Month a Year in the Castle - The Dutch Society Natuurmonumenten Bought the Remaining Estate of 988 Acres and Initiated an Extensive Restoration of the Castle and the Gardens

The visit included Gravensteen Castle en route to Amsterdam, the Het Loo Paleis, Apeldoorn, Boijman’s “Mad About Surrealism,” exhibition in Rotterdam, The National Library/National Archive, The Hague, The Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo, Museum Speelklok and Domtower in Utrecht. A study rich experience for students from the School of Conservation and the School of Creative Arts.
