Take a stroll around, an 85-acre green space along the Ohio River downtown. The park hosts lots of special events (concerts, movies and more), and also boasts great playgrounds, an impressive pedestrian/biker bridge, and a Lincoln memorial.

Water Pump The original well-water hand pump, circa mid-1800s, will also find new life as a foot-washing and dog-bowl-filling spigot next to the new outdoor shower. "The old-fashioned handle won't require any pumping," says Dylan. "Raising it will turn on the water and lowering it will turn it back off."

Vegas Magazine's Sustainable Style event presented fashion pieces utilizing sustainable or environmentally-friendly materials. Guests enjoyed a "green" fashion night out with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and runway show featuring looks constructed from recycled or reused materials and fabrics. All proceeds benefit the Springs Preserve Foundation.
