I didn't think I would like these books at first, but now I want to read the series. The books are set in Wyoming, and C.J. Box does a great job of describing the landscape. They are fast reads: a mystery/suspense/"cowboy" genre! I'll be starting the seventh book soon.

Return to The Hundred Acre Wood: writing the Winnie-the-Pooh sequel
"The Dovekeepers" by Alice Hoffman is a bit of a tome with all that implies. The literary treatment of women's issues in 100 A.D. Jerusalem and the surrounding areas is interesting and heartbreaking. The strength of these four women, each telling her own story in her own voice, is the true star of this painstakingly told novel.
