Hello Dolly Squares. I've made these twice now. Extra yumm! Followed the recipe exactly, but the second time used toffee bits instead of nuts. Extra sweet, but super delish! I think I liked them better that way.

Hello Dolly Squares 1 cups graham cracker crumbs cup butter cup of sugar 1 to 2 cup of chocolate chips 1 cup of toffee bits 1 cup of coconut 1 can of condensed milk

Hello, Dolly! The original design of Barbra Streisand's gold-beaded gown shown in the Harmonia Gardens scene weighed 40 pounds and cost $8,000. Twice during rehearsals, she tripped over its 2.5-foot train. Other dancers also tripped over it during rehearsal, so the train was taken off the dress. The train is shown intact when Streisand starts down the stairs, but later it disappears. See HELLO, DOLLY! live on stage with Music Circus at the Wells Fargo Pavilion JUNE 28-JULY 3, 2016. TICKETS…

Hello, Dolly! (1969)

Bead Encrusted Gown and Feather Headpiece, 1969 Worn by Barbara Streisand in Hello, Dolly! Designed by Irene Sharaff

The film follows the story of Dolly Levi (a strong-willed matchmaker), as she travels to Yonkers, New York to find a match for the miserly "well-known unmarried half-a-millionaire" Horace Vandergelder. In doing so she convinces his niece, his niece's intended, and Horace's two clerks to travel to New York City.

My favorite musical, probably the best miscasting for a film ever. Barbra was much too young to play Dolly, but she pulled it off...and can she belt those great Jerry Herman tunes! I've seen both Carol Channing and Pearl Bailey on stage as Dolly, and they were great. But the soundtrack I love the best is the movie soundtrack. And what a visually beautiful film.

This quick and easy dessert is the traditional and yummy Hello Dolly Bar, but can also be called a Magic Bar or a 7 Layer Bar. Whatever you call it, the soft, delicious graham cracker crust, rich chocolate and crunchy coconut drizzled with sweetened condensed milk is so scrumptious that you'll be making them for every pool party this summer. | Recipe via TheTurquoiseHome.com
