An adopted recipe, Original Intro States: This Garlic Mayonnaise is typical of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands in Spain. It is usually served with bread as an appetizer. It can also be used to accompany grilled fish and meats.
Aioli: Aioli is a lovely fragrant and pungent type of mayonnaise – and the great thing is that you can take the flavour in any direction – try adding some pounded or chopped basil, fennel tops, dill or roasted nuts. It's also great flavoured with lemon zest and juice. Jamie Oliver's recipe: garlic, salt, pepper, egg yolk, Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice.
Alioli is a simple Spanish condiment of garlic and oil usually served with paella and patatas bravas. Nowadays, most people use egg to emulsify it, but that´s gross. I used aquafaba and it was amazeballs!
Cajun Garlic Aioli... One of my most used sauces. Its a fancy mayonnaise, seasoned with Cajun/Creole New Orleans spices. Perfect for about any Chicken Sandwich you might make. Substituted spicy brown and added several shakes Crystal sauce. Mmm on fish!!
I personalized this recipe a bit by adding more mushrooms, double white wine, chicken tenders, prawns and used onions instead of shallots. It was delicious!!!!! Chicken in Garlic White Wine Cream Sauce. Photo by Miss JJ
